Meet The Founder
Jason Langrish is the President of The Energy Roundtable, which he founded in 2004 to help define the role of the Canadian energy sector in domestic affairs and international markets.
Jason also serves (now on a part time basis) as the Executive Director of the Canada Europe Roundtable for Business, which was the private sector architect of the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.
From 2020 to 2024, he served as Special Advisor to the Ivey Foundation, where he coordinated the Canada UK Climate Leadership Series in the lead up to COP26 in Glasgow and helped establish New Economy Canada, a net zero focused business group.
Jason has also served as a Special Advisor to a national and international government relations firm, as well as to a prominent London based Executive Search firm, assisting clients in the energy, infrastructure and trade sectors.
He has previously worked in the Trade and Commercial Section at the Canadian Mission to the EU in Brussels and in financial services in the City of London. For eight seasons he was a member of a Helitack fire fighting crew for the British Columbia Ministry of Forests.
Educated at the University of Victoria, Western University and the London School of Economics, Jason was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Government to Canada in 2012.
